Early Access draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and will be replaced by a final version before Golfit.AI opens publicly. You will be asked to agree again when it changes.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, and any golf details you add to your profile.
- Your trips: plans, votes, ideas, expenses, documents and messages you or your group add.
- Basic usage: which steps of Golfit you use, your trip role and the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer). This is linked to you only if you turn on “Anonymous product analytics” in Settings.
- Feedback you choose to send with the thumbs up / down buttons.
Who can see your trip
- Only golfers on that trip. Other golfers see names and trip roles, never your email address.
- A small Golfit team can access data when needed to run, support or secure the service.
AI and outside services
To provide some features Golfit sends the minimum needed information to these services:
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, sign-in and file storage.
- AI models (Google Gemini and OpenAI, through the Lovable AI gateway) — trip drafts, reading confirmations you paste or upload, and idea summaries. Only the trip content needed for that request is sent; it is not used to identify you.
- Google — “Sign in with Google” if you choose it; weather forecasts for a course location (no personal details are sent).
- Email delivery (Lovable Emails) — invitations, trip updates, reminders and your Daily Briefing. You can turn categories off in Settings; account and security emails always send.
Your choices
- Download a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, from Settings → Your data. Download links expire after 7 days.
- When an account is deleted, your name and contact details are removed. Things you added to shared trips (for example an expense others owe on) stay so the group’s records still add up, and are shown as “Former golfer”.
